Spotlight on a Recent In-Person Rocko Rocket Book Event
In collaboration with Missionary Society John Paul II, and thanks to many individual donors, 2nd grade students at Holmes Elementary School in Miami had the incredible opportunity to meet the author and illustrator of Rocko’s Big Launch.
During the event, the author read from their newly released book, engaging the students with an exciting and interactive storytelling session. The children were not only able to enjoy the story but also participate in a paper craft activity that allowed them to make their own very own rocket.
After the reading and activity, each child received a gift-wrapped copy of the book, making this a truly special experience. The event not only encouraged children to explore their own creativity but also reinforced the importance of storytelling, both as an art form and as a way to communicate emotions and ideas.
